Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute

Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute (GTIPI) is the primary entity providing Child Passenger Safety Technician training in Georgia, certifying more than 200 technicians a year and offering ongoing support to technicians and instructors throughout Georgia. GTIPI also conducts child safety seat check events, inviting parents and caregivers to have their child safety seats inspected and to be trained on proper installation.  GTIPI also inspects child safety seats for parents and caregivers by appointment.

* This grant is focused on training. While GTIPI is an inspection station and is available for appointments to check car seats, there are no car seats available for distribution.
